Virgil J. Mills Jr., 76,
passed away August 25, 2008 at his home in Wallingford, Pa.
Born in Lawrenceburg, Ky, he has been a resident of Wallingford, Pa, and previously of Chester, Pa.
He was educated at Franklin School, Chester High School class of 1950, and also graduated from PMC in 1962. He was employed with Baldwin Locomotive in Eddystone, Pa, Sun Oil, Scott Paper, and
Retired from Boeing in 1995 as a Mechanical Engineer. He belonged to Nur Temple, Delaware, was a current member of Boeing Management Association, a volunteer of Taylor Hospital rehab unit, 6th Ward committee man for Nether Providence Township, and was an avid fan and supporter of Interboro High School football team.
He was the devoted husband of Virginia M. Mills for 54 years.
He was the son of the late Virgil J. Mills Sr. and Margaret Mills.
He was the loving father of Daniel K. Mills of Media, Pa,
Mark S. Mills of Wilmington, De, Karen Mills of Yardley, Pa,
Joyce Mills Raikowski of Ridley Park, Pa. He was the brother of
the late James Mills and also
William M. Mills of Union, Ky, and
Janice Black of Lexington, Ky.
He was the proud grandfather of 9. He was also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place Friday 11:30 am at St. Johns Chrysostom, 615 South Providence Rd., Wallingford, Pa, 19086.
