Florence E. Pellegrino June 4, 1918 - August 29, 2008

Florence E. (Mattie) Pellegrino, 90, passed away Aug. 29, 2008 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. She has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa. since 1961.

Prior to that she lived in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a graduate from South Philadelphia High School in 1936.

She was employed with Clover Department Store in Springfield, Pa. and was also a volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, Pa. She belonged to Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven, Pa.

Married on Sept. 9, 1944 to the late Vito J. Pellegrino who passed away in 1990. She was the mother of Thomas Pellegrino of Brookhaven, Pa, the late Kathleen Pellegrino who passed away in 2003, JoAnne Walker of West Chester, Pa, and

Karen Berckman of Boothwyn, Pa.. She was the sister of Ronald Mattie of North East Philadelphia, Pa, and the late Josephine, Charles, Daniel, and Matthew Mattie.

Funeral service- Wednesday 10:30 am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015

Calling Hours- Wednesday 9:30-10:30am at the church

Interment- SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa
