Russel E. Swallow, 68, passed away October 27, 2008 at his home.
Born in Chester, Pa, he spent
most of his life in Upland, Pa, but also resided for several years in Marcus Hook, Pa.
He was a security guard for CIA Investigations, Kennet Square, and currently worked for Pembroke Rehabilitation Center, West Chester, for the past 28 years.
He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and absolutely loved to travel to watch their games. He also adored his cat, Meiko. He really enjoyed reading and watching movies.
He was the son of the late Eleanor and Arthur Swallow and the brother of the late Gilbert A. Swallow.
He was survived by his sister,
Eleanor Maitland of Upland, Pa, his niece, Stephanie Bauer of Brookhaven, Pa, and his great niece, Kristie Kline of Brookhaven, Pa.
Funeral service will be held Monday evening at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015 at 8pm. Friends may call Monday 6:30-8 pm at the funeral home. Interment is private. Donations can be made to Delaware County SPCA, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, Pa, 19015.
