Patricia Thomas, 63, passed away June 19, 2010 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, Pa.
Born in Chester, Pa, she has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 14 years. She previously resided in San Jose, Ca.
She graduated from Eddystone High School and Neuman College, Aston, Pa.
She was a certified medical assistant for Dr. Bernstein, a podiatrist.
She enjoyed reading, exercising, going to plays, swimming. Above all else she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
She was the wife of Carl Thomas for the last 5 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Richard Whiteside.
She was the loving mother of Wesley Sonner of New Hampshire and John Sonner of Virginia.
She was predeceased by her brother Russell Whiteside. She is survived by her brothers; Thomas Whiteside of Bensalem, Pa, Michael Whiteside of Claymont, De, and Robert Whiteside of Chichester, Pa, and sisters;
Susan Simeone of Landsdowne, Pa, and Sandra Cannon of Claymont, De, and Kitty Moyer of Collingdale, Pa.
She was the proud grandmother of 5.
Funeral service will be held Friday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Friday 9-11am at the funeral home.
Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
