Marie T. Marquardt, 81,
passed away June 29, 2010 at Maris Grove, Glen Mills, Pa.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa, she has been a resident of Glen Mills for the past 4 years. She previously lived in Parkside, Pa, for 54 years.
She graduated from Collingdale High School, Collingdale, Pa.
She belonged to our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, Pa, where she belonged to the Altar Society and was the school librarian for 25 years. She attended the Landsdowne Library Book Club, loved to travel, play games (soduko). She was a great baker and homemaker. She loved her computer and was extremely interested in genealogical research. She also loved music and liked to play the piano.
She was the beloved wife of Charles Marquardt for 60 years.
She was the daughter of the late Ana and Joseph Williman.
She was the loving mother of Charles Marquardt Jr. of Yorba Linda, CA, Marie Orlandi of Collingdale, Pa, Kathy Massa of Ridley Park, Pa, and Anne Marquardt of Trenton, NJ. She was the sister of Doris Rofalowski of Collegeville, Pa, and the late Margaret Pecht.
She was the grandmother of 7 and the great grandmother of 2.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday (July 7, 2010) 11am at our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Wednesday 10-11am at the church.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
