Merrill E. Fisher, Jr., 75, passed away July 25, 2026, at his home in Brookhaven, PA. Born in Chester, PA, he grew up in Aston at “Fishers Corner”, was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, and attended Grove City College. Merrill worked as a mechanic for Kimberly-Clark up until his retirement.
He was an avid skier and spent many years skiing with “The Crude Dudes”. He also loved to play golf and, in his younger years, played softball. He was a voracious reader, loved westerns along with game shows to sharpen his quizzo nights. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by those that loved him.
He was predeceased by his parents Merrill Sr. and Vivian Fisher.
Merrill is survived by his beloved wife Roxanne Fisher; daughter Shannon Tagle; sister Susan Bloxom (Ken); his granddaughters Emily, Alyssa, and Hanna Tagle; and his special cousins Peggy and Mary.
