Donna Lee “Irish” (Healy) Mangino, 79, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on November 30, 1946, Donna spent most of her life in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, where she raised her family and became well known throughout the community. Over the years, she also enjoyed spending many happy times in Somers Point, New Jersey, a place she loved.
Donna was a familiar face to many throughout Delaware County. For more than 30 years, she worked as a bartender, where she wasn’t just serving drinks, she was making friends, sharing laughs, and creating lasting memories with countless customers who quickly became family. She also dedicated 12 years to the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District as a school bus driver, safely transporting generations of students with the same kindness and care she showed everyone she met.
Above all else, Donna’s greatest love was her family. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She treasured every family gathering and was always happiest when surrounded by those she loved.
Donna also had a passion for life. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved motorcycles, race cars, skiing, boating, and fishing. Whether she was cheering on her favorite football team, enjoying the outdoors, or making memories with family and friends, Donna embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Betty Healy; her sisters, Betty Henderson and Linda Healy; and her cherished sons, Donald Vincent Mangino Jr. and Joseph Vincent Mangino.
She is survived by her loving sister, Charlene Bagley; her daughters, Donise Rode, Michelle Zacarias, and Renay Mangino (John); her beloved grandchildren, Rocco Mattero, Dana (Joseph) Montella, Ryan Newcomb, Spencer (Renee) Rode, Kelly Newcomb, Kristin (Daniel) Cataline, Brianna Mangino (Anthony), Joseph Rode, Paul Rode (Mandy), and Anthony Marinelli; her 16 cherished great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
Donna will be remembered for her infectious smile, quick wit, generous heart, and the friendships she made wherever she went. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome and could always make those around her laugh. Donna had a silly, goofy sense of humor that was uniquely her own, and she never missed an opportunity to joke around or bring a smile to someone’s face. Her fun-loving spirit, strength, and unconditional love for her family made her truly unforgettable.
Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
May she rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will take place Wednesday (August 12, 2026) from 6-8pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Burial private. Online condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
