John K. “Jack” Berry March 12, 1939 - March 11, 2022

John K. “Jack” Berry, age 82 of Tower City, Pa. formerly of Eddystone, Pa. passed away on March 11, 2022. He was born and raised in Chester and graduated from Chester High in 1959. Before he retired, Jack worked as a police officer for the borough of Eddystone for 20 years. He enjoyed RC boating, kayaking, monster jam, watching the Flyers and traveling but he especially enjoyed visiting amusement parks, most importantly Knoebels.

He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Elsie Berry and his son John K. Berry, Jr.

Jack is survived by his wife, Cheryleann Berry; his children; Jacqueline (Fredrick) Mattera, Matthew Berry, and Cori (Joseph) Garvey; grandchildren; Christine Mattera, John Mattera, Lauren Mattera, Cayden Garvey, Abigail Garvey; his great granddaughter Alexis Mattera and his companion Krista Keisling.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 6-8pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgemont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa.

All of the other funeral services and burial will be held privately.
