Florence I. Leflar, 90,
passed away July 7, 2010 at home.
Born in Upland, Pa, where she resided her whole life until moving to New Castle, De, four years ago. She graduated from Chester High School and Presbyterian Hospital for her RN training. She worked for Scott Paper for her entire working career as an industrial nurse.
She loved crossword puzzles and reading.
She was the wife of the late Robert A. Leflar and daughter of
the late Inez and Robert Baxter; mother of the late Thomas Baxter.
She was the mother of Barbara A. L. Jackson of New Castle, De and sister of James Baxter of Md.
She was the grandmother of 1 and great grandmother of 1.
Funeral service Tuesday 12 pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Tuesday 10-12 at the funeral home.
Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa.
