Albert J. Yori, 89, passed away November 25, 2010 at his home.
He grew up in Chester, where he was born, resided in Media, Pa, before moving to Glen Mills, Pa, in 1959. He graduated from Chester High School and went on to receive his bachelors degree from Drexel University.
He worked for Philadelphia Electric Company as an engineer for 42 years before his retirement.
He was an avid bowler. He loved nothing more than spending time with his grandkids and cheering them on at their sporting events.
He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy.
He was the husband of the late Marie Yori.
He was survived by his sons; David (Shiela)Yori of West Chester, Pa and Doug (Beth) Yori of Folsom, Pa; his sisters, Dorothy, Frances, Kaye, Rosemary, and Dolores; his grandchildren Katherine, Bradford, Kimberly, KelseyLynn, and Karleigh Yori; and 4 grand dogs.
Funeral service Thursday 10:30 at St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, Pa, 19342.
Visitation Thursday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa, 19064.
