Rosemary “Judy” McDevitt Kennedy, 69, passed away October 10, 2009 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Born in Media, Pa, she was a lifelong resident of Delaware County, currently living in Wallingford, Pa, and previously residing in Aston, Media, and Drexel Hill.
She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Pa.
She was a wonderful homemaker and an extremely loving mother and grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret McDevitt; wife of the late David E. Kennedy; grandmother of the late David Barnhart.
She was the devoted mother of Maureen Waterbury of Redmond, Washington, Kathleen Charles of Lancaster, Pa, Deborah Buhler of Wallingford, Pa, and Vicki Lovecchio of Wallingford, Pa.
She was the sister of Margaret Topper of Media, Pa, and Joan Karge of New Albany, Pa.
She was the proud grandmother of 8.
Funeral service Thursday 12pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Thursday 10-12 at the funeral home.
Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pa.
