Ralph C. Lewis, 84, passed away January 25, 2010 at Riddle Village Retirement Community, Media, Pa. He was born in Salisbury, Md. He has been a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa.
He graduated from Media High School, Class of 1944. He was retired from Scott Paper after 40 years of service. He was a wood carver, oil painter, and a member of Woodlyn Sports Club for over 10 years. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family. His greatest joy was his grandchildren.
He was a WWII Army veteran in the European Theatre of Operation.
He was the beloved husband of Anna H. Lewis for 62 years.
He was the son of the late Carl E. Lewis and Minnie M. Lewis
He was the loving father of David Lewis (Nadine) of Newark, De and
Lisa Brodeur (Pat) of Wallingford, Pa. He was the grandfather of Patrick, Stephen, Brian, Christine, and Zachary.
Funeral service will be held Saturday 11:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Saturday 10-11:30am at the funeral home.
Interment private.
