Joan Ritchie August 27, 1935 - January 27, 2010

Joan Ritchie, 74, passed away January 27, 2010 at Prospect Park Nursing Home. Born in Scranton, Pa. She was a resident of Prospect Park for the last year and was a long time resident of Folcroft, Pa, prior to that.
She loved to do word searches and was a devoted mother. She was the wife of the late James Ritchie for 17 years before his passing in 1990. She was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Casper VonBergen. She was predeceased by her siblings; George VonBergen, John VonBergen, Ruth Burke, and Gertrude Morgan. She was the loving mother of Carol VonBergen of Yeadon, Pa.
She was the sister of Pat Diggins of New Castle, De.
She was also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday 10am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Tuesday 9-10 at the funeral home.
Interment LawnCroft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
