Philomena L. Malinowski April 10, 1928 - June 2, 2012

Philomena L. Malinowski was born April 10, 1928 and passed away June 2, 2012. She was the baby of five children and was born and raised in Chester, Pa. Philomena worked for 31 years as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company and for 20 years as an operator for Crozer Chester Medical Center before retiring at the age of 82. Philomena was also a proud member of Our Lady of Charity Church. Philomena loved spending time with her family and friends. Her family was the love of her life and she was devoted to all of them. She enjoyed going out to dinner, watching the Phillies games, and playing cards. She also loved to travel and spending long weekends with her friends in Honeybrook, Pa. Philomena is predeceased by her sons Michael Malinowski and Lawrence Malinowski. She is survived by her granddaughter Tiffany Malinowski; daughter-in-law Valerie Malinowski; and dear friends Yvonne Tessier and Jeanette Walter; many other family and friends. Funeral service Wednesday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment private.
