Margaret S. Booz, 89, passed away May 31, 2017 at home. She resided in High Meadows in Middletown Twp. for 24 as well as Safety Harbor, FL, for 11 years before moving to Manahawkin, NJ, 9 months ago. She owned and operated Peggy’s Beauty Salon for 14 years before moving to Florida. Peggy belonged to the VFW, The Auxilliary post 3460, High Meadow Civic Association, Our lady of Charity Parish, and also volunteered at Indian lane Elementary School for many years. She is predeceased by her first husband John A. Strubinger and her 2nd husband George O. Booz; her siblings I. Beatrice Hepp, Doris V. Hess, and Helen R. Dugan; and her parents Harry and Isabel Porch.
She is survived by her children John A. (Barbara) Strubinger, Margaret Ann (Frank) Newburg, and Corinne (Jim) Toth; brother Robert Porch; 7 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial service Tuesday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Tuesday 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial SS Peter and Paul, Springfield, PA.
