Magdalena Berner (nee Bonchack)
passed away January 1, 2010 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa,
She was currently a resident of Wilmington, De, but was a long time resident of Delaware County, Pa. She graduated from Scranton State School for the Deaf and and Wilkes Business College.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid Penn State fan. She was the wife of the late Douglas A. Berner who passed away in 1995.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Bonchack.
She was the mother of Paddy Berner of Aston, Pa, Jovita Berner of Wilmington, De, Fara Hopkins of Virginia Beach, Va, Alissa Berner of Wilmington, De, and Felicia Berner of Aston, Pa.
She was the sister of Jean Bonchack of East Stroudsburg, Pa.
She was the grandmother of 2 with one on the way.
Funeral service Tuesday 11:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.
Visitation Tuesday 10-11:30 at the funeral home.
Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
