Ellen Lewis Cressman May 4, 1923 - January 12, 2010

Ellen C. Lewis Cressman, 86,

passed away January 12, 2010 at Kent General Hospital, Dover, De.

She has been a resident of Milford, De, for the past two years previously living in Ocala, Florida, for 14 years, and a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa.

She was a graduate of Ridley High School, Ridley, Pa.

She was an active member of Victoria Baptist Church, Springfield, Pa, Brookhaven Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a volunteer at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa, served on the Youth Aid Panel, and was extremely devoted to her family.

She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Herbert E. Cressman for 59 years before his passing in 2006.

She was the loving mother of Donald Cressman of Brookhaven, Pa, Richard Cressman of Interlachen, Fl, and Jane Adolphi of Milford, De. She was the sister of Ruth Kershaw of Delaware. She was the grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 6.

Funeral service will be held Friday 11:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.

Visitation Friday 10-11:30 at the funeral home.

Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
