June E. Stubbs June 16, 1938 - April 4, 2011

June E. Stubbs passed away April 4, 2011 at her home. Born in Chester, Pa, she resided in Aston until moving to Brookhaven, Pa, in 1985. She graduated from Chester High School and worked for Penn Delco School District as a custodian/cafeteria worker for 30 plus years. She also taught Sunday School at Eddystone Methodist Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Stubbs; daughter of the late Henrietta and Raymond Hughes; sister of the late Raymond Hughes Jr. She is survived by her sons James Discala of Brookhaven, Pa, Joseph Discala of West Chester, Pa, and Brian Stubbs of Hatfield, Pa; her siblings Gloria Lockwood and Robert Hughes; and her five grandchildren Joseph F. and Meghan Marie Discala, Robert, Kaitlyn and Tia Peyrefferry. Funeral service Thursday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Thursday 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment LawnCroft Cemetery, Linwood, Pa.
