Joe McCabe, 55, passed away April 3, 2014 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Brookhaven and lived most of his life nearby. He was a graduate of Sun Valley High School and RETS Electronic School. He is predeceased by his father Francis X. McCabe.
He is survived by his mother Rosemary McCabe; sisters Bunny, Rita, Rosie, and Maureen; brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many close friends including Alan, Bill, Bob, Chris, Cook, Donna, Gino, Jeff, Karen, Kim, Kevin, Linda, Noel, Shelly, and Tom among others–all of whom he valued greatly.
Funeral mass Tuesday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Tuesday 9:30-10:15am at the church. Interment St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, Pa.
