John S. Stanley, 59, passed away May 3, 2014 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. He had resided in Toby Farms and Ridley, Pa, before moving to Parkside in 1996. He was a graduate of Springfield High School, class of 1973. He was predeceased by his parents Caroline and Jesse Stanley; his sister Linda Stanley; his Nana Jessie Kershaw and his aunt Katherine Kershaw who both raised him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Karen Stanley; his daughters Christine LaPort (Mike), Kelli Pierce (Chris), Nicki Handlin (Ryan), Jessica Stanley (TC), and Emily Stanley; his sisters Barbara Marucci (Michael), Nancy Nath (Joe), and Lynn Clark (Chuck); his grandchildren Carlie, Kaycie, Khloe, Christopher, Abbie, and Isaac.
Funeral service Friday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Thursday evening 7-9pm and also Friday morning 9-11am at the funeral home.
