Jayne Meyer April 17, 1928 - June 10, 2010

Jayne W. Meyer, 82,
passed away June 10, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa.
She was a resident of Brookhaven, Pa. 40 years, lifelong resident of Delaware County. She graduated from Eddystone High School in 1946.
She worked for Delaware County as a dietician in the Juvenile Detention Center in Middletown Twp., Pa.
She was the former Noble Grand of the Lady Elam #2 Lodge of the Odd Fellows of Pennsylvania, Boothwyn Fire Co., Boothwyn, Pa. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Chester, Pa.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Meyer III; her parents James W. Sr. and Mary Hawke Carroll; and her siblings James W. Jr., Richard Carroll, Mary “Bette” Hamilton, Louise Bailey, Margaretta “Polly” Langley.
She was the sister of Nancy A. (Robert) Bristow of Aston, Pa. She was also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and 1 great great great nephew.
Funeral service will be held Monday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home 4220 Edgmont Ave. Brookhaven, Pa. 19015.
