Irene T. Miller September 7, 1922 - April 9, 2015

Irene T. Miller, 92, passed away April 9, 2015 at Season’s Hospice in Christiana Hospital. Born in Plymouth, Pa, she was a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa, before moving to Millcroft Senior Living 2 years ago. Irene really enjoyed traveling with her brothers and sister-in-laws and going to Wildwood with her family. Above all else she loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Miller in 2006; her brothers Frank, Albert, Val, Joseph, and Stanley Swider; and her parents Stefania and Walter Swider.
She is survived by her loving daughter Carol Fritz-Aiello (John); granddaughters Aimee Murphy (Greg) and Kimee Lee Fritz-Nolan; great grandchildren Evan, Lexi, and Max Murphy and Troy Daniel and Kailee-Jo Smith; her best friend and sister-in-law Joan Swider; many nieces and nephews; and her extended family at Millcroft Senior Living who she dearly loved. Irene will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.

Funeral mass Monday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Sunday evening 6-8pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015 and also Monday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa, 19064. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
