Veronica Platt July 29, 1930 - April 22, 2015

Veronica Platt, 84, passed away April 22, 2015 at Crozer Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital. Born in Chester she has been a resident of Brookhaven for the last 53 years. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1948. She was an active member of Our Lady of Charity. Ronnie was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years William R. Platt, Sr.; her brother James H. Carney; and her great granddaughter Mckayla Grace Platt.
She is survived by her children William (Karen) Platt, Jr., Robert J. Platt, Patricia Platt, and Clare (Tom) Beatty; her sister Sarah Giduck (late Harry); sister in law Rose Carney; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held Monday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Sunday evening 6:30-9pm and Monday 9-10am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Media, Pa.
