Eleanor M. Diggins, a resident of Parkside, Pa. for over 61 years, passed away on July 14, 2018. Beloved wife of the late George J. Diggins, Sr. Loving mother of George, Jr. (Kathy) Diggins, John (Margie) Diggins, Kathryn Orr, Helen (Ronald) Dolbin, and Margaret (Michael) DiFurio. She is the daughter of the late John and Kathryn Metrick as well as the late John and Margaret Conchis. She is the sister of the late John Conchis, Bill Conchis, David Conchis, Mary Shultz, and Margaret Conchis. She is survived by sisters Lucy Whyne, Kathy Caughey, and cousin Alice Kachelries. Eleanor is also survived by many cherished grand-children, great-grand-children, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and mass, Thursday, July 19th. Viewing is from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Charity Church 231 Upland Rd. Brookhaven, PA. 19015. Burial service immediately follows at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Sproul Rd., Springfield, PA 19064.
Luncheon and fellowship information will be distributed following burial. All are invited to speak and share memories and sentiments during this time.
