Veronica “Ronnie” Ann Stengel (nee McDonald), 68, passed away July 5, 2018 at her home. She was an Executive secretary for Bell Telephone and then retired in 2006 from Verizon. Veronica was born August 31, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My mom loved the church, the beach, roosters, and reading. She had a great love for music and enjoyed dancing and singing. She was a kind hearted woman who would help anyone if she could. Her closest friends Lil, Sheryl, and Joan and all her friends from the Our Lady of Charity Church in the Blessed Mary prayer group she held dear to her heart. A very special thank you to Dianne for helping her every Tuesday and all her nurses who helped her every day and even went that extra mile for my mom.
Ronnie is survived by her beloved daughter Amy Marie Stengel-Andrel and her son in law Michael Francis Andrel; her granddaughters Brianna Marie Hampton and Caycie Marie Stengel and her grandson Michael Christopher Hampton; and all of her Stengel relatives who she cared deeply for.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA, 19015. Visitation Thursday 9:30-11am at the church.
