Elayne Maier Clarke, 83,

passed away October 19, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Born in Philadelphia, Pa, she was currently a resident of Chester, Pa, for the past 30 years. Previously she resided in Ridley Park, Pa. She graduated from Bartram High School, Southwest Philadelphia, Pa.

She worked at the Philadelphia Naval yard during WWII. She enjoyed her hobbies and playing scrabble with people from all over the country. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Anna Gollatz. She was the mother of Howard Maier of Parkside, Pa, and the late Charles Maier, and Leslie Maier of Chester, Pa.

She was the sister of the late Barbara Mott.

She was the grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 11.

Funeral Service 8:30pm Wednesday at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 7-8:30pm at the funeral home.

Interment Private.
