Diane M. Shull, 78, passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2024. Born and raised in Chester, she was a longtime resident of Brookhaven, PA. Diane was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended Delaware County Community College. She was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church. Diane had a long and successful management career at the Chester Water Authority, retiring in 2007. She truly enjoyed her work and was well liked at CWA.
Diane married the love of her life, Michael, on September 21, 1963. Together, they made a home and raised a daughter. They spent 55 wonderful years together, until Michael’s passing in 2019. During many of those years, they could be found holding hands as they strolled on the Wildwood boardwalk during summer vacations, entertaining at family bar-b-ques, and playing with pups Missy and Abby. Mike and Diane were a north star for family and friends, offering guidance and assistance to so many. Diane was a skilled listener. She will be remembered for her kindness and loving nature.
In addition to her husband, Diane is predeceased by her parents, Sandy and Rose Quattro. Diane is survived by her beloved daughter Tammy Hanna (Brian); Sisters Maryann Dugan and Shirley Franklin; sister-in-law Karla Shull; and many loving nieces and nephews.
