Daniel I Murphy, age 65, died March 1, 2010 at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pa. Born in Media, Pa, he was a resident of Boothwyn, Pa. for the past 24 years. Before Boothwyn, he resided in Parkside, Pa. A lifetime resident of Delaware County, Pa. Educated in the Media School District. Employed with the Upper Darby School District as head custodian for 30 years in which he retired in 1995. Member of Delaware County Field and Stream, Harley Davidson (Hogs) of Delaware County. Son to the late Leonard and Dorothy Murphy. Survived by wife of 44 years Beverly Vernon Murphy of Boothwyn, Pa. Father of Denise Murphy Barr of Boothwyn, Pa. Brother of William(Nancy) Murphy of Edgmont, Pa. grandfather of 2. Brother in law to Harry vernon.
