Daniel “Danny” Stephen Pompilii June 18, 1979 - May 8, 2026

Daniel “Danny” Stephen Pompilii, 46, of Chester, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Born in Chester, Danny was the beloved son of Sylvester “Sonny” Pompilii and the late Cheryl Pompilii. He attended Saint Roberts Grade School and was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School. Following graduation, Danny pursued his passion for culinary arts by attending culinary school, which led to his career working at various country clubs and restaurants.

Danny loved cooking for his family and friends, spending time on the golf course, and cheering on his beloved Detroit Lions. He was known for his sense of humor, and ability to make everyone around him laugh. Danny will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend whose warmth and personality touched so many lives.

He was predeceased by his mother, Cheryl Pompilii, and his uncle, Stephen Ryan.

Danny is survived by his father, Sylvester “Sonny” Pompilii; his brothers, Joseph (Dana) Pompilii and their children, Anthony and Gianna Pompilii; and Marc (Kari) Pompilii and their children, Tyler Pompilii, Shelby, Tyler (deceased), Brooke, and Lexi Stanhope.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 10:00am -11:00am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Avenue Brookhaven Pa. 19015 followed by his funeral service at 11:00am.

Burial will be private.

    I was so sad when I heard about Danny’s passing. Donny (Dodds) and I had lots of great times and laughs with Danny and I am sure Donny has been hanging out with him in heaven. I will keep Danny and your whole family in my prayers during this most difficult time. Peace to you all and RIP Danny. I cannot make it to the service on the 19th but will keep you all in my thoughts.
