Charles O. Ellis January 19, 1933 - November 13, 2012

Charles O. Ellis, 79, passed away November 13, 2012. Born January 19, 1933 in Glenolden, Pa. to the late William and Matilda Ellis. He attended Glen-Nor High School graduating in 1951. After graduating, he served in the Air Force for four years. Mr. Ellis worked for Sun Ship. Charles married the love of his life, the late Verna J. Ellis on July 24, 1963. He was an avid sports fan, a true die-hard Eagles fan.

Survivors: loving father to Jeffrey Henson, Jamie (Barbara) Ellis, Joey Ellis, Gail Cuffari, Gennie Hatcher, Rona (Robbie)Stern, Diane (Steve) Roberts, Donna (Bryan) Gatta, and Dorthy (Ed) Slotwinski; brother of Emil (Mary) Ellis; proud grandfather of 19; great grandfather of 4.

Funeral service Saturday 12noon at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 10-12 at the funeral home. Interment private. Condolences can be sent via www.batemanallenfuneralhome.com
