Charles J. Arnold, 83, passed away December 9, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. A 42 year resident of Brookhaven, Pa, before retiring to Lewes, De. He was a graduate of and multi-sport athlete at Stevens Trade School, class of 1950. He was an Air Force veteran, owned Charles J. Arnold Electrical Services, retired from the PA Turnpike as an Electrical Supervisor, was the Electrical Inspector for Brookhaven, and was very active in the community. A 50+ year member of Chester Masonic Lodge 236 and Shriner. Above all else he was a devoted husband and father and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Joan Arnold; loving children Chuck Arnold Jr. (Susie) and Jeff Arnold (Janet); grandchildren Matthew, Kevin, Casey, Shane, and Justin; 4 great grandchildren; and his sidekick Maggie.
Memorial gathering will take place Sunday 10am-12noon with a Masonic service at 12:00 at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, PA.
