Betty Phillips January 26, 1928 - February 17, 2010

Betty Phillips, 81, passed away February 17, 2010 at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park, Pa.

Born in Gastonia, NC, she has been a resident of Morton, Pa, for the past 20 years. She was previously of Brookhaven, Pa. She was a longtime employee/ supervisor for the Ship and Shore.

She was an extremely devoted and loving mother. She loved to sing and was involved with Christian Song ministries for many years. She was a member of PWP and was the president for one year. She was the mother of William J. Phillips of Morton, Pa, the sister of Robert Yancey of Swarthmore, Pa, and James Yancey of Ocala, Fl. She was also survived by nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday 10am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015.

Visitation will be held Monday evening 7-9 and also Tuesday 9-10am at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
