Alice Harrington, 98, passed away September 1, 2026, at Riddle Village, Media, PA. She was born in Easton, MD and grew up in Price, MD on a dairy farm with no electricity or running water. In 1944 she was trained as a Cadet Corp Nurse at Delaware Hospital in Wilmington, DE. In 1949 she married Walter Albright and purchased a home in Brookhaven where she lived over 75 years. During that time she worked as an RN at Riddle Hospital for many years until her retirement.
Alice loved garage sales, gardening and collecting antiques especially dolls. She was very involved with her church, Faith Community. She loved spending time at her cottage on the Elk River in Hollywood Beach, MD, where family would gather and enjoy life together. Above all else, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her parents Earle and Bertha Everett; her first husband Walter Albright, who passed in 1968; her second husband George Harrington, who passed in 2009; and her 4 siblings.
She is survived by her loving children Gary E. Albright (Lynn) and Nancy A. Vogel (Brant), grandchildren David (Meghan), Jessica, Amy, Andrew (Jacqui), and Sarah; and her great grandchildren Micah, Phineas, Luke, and Noah.
