Wilford Palmore, 87,

passed away May 19, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa,

he has been a resident of Brookhaven, Pa, for the past 54 years. He worked for Sun Oil Chemical Company, Marcus Hook, Pa.

He was a member of the VFW Post 7213, Norwood, Pa. He really enjoyed working around the house.

He was a veteran of WWII, United States Coast Guard. He was the beloved husband of Jean Palmore for the past 63 years.

He was the loving father of Ken Palmore of Jackson, Wyoming and Russ Palmore of Aston, Pa, Susan Smith of Vero Beach, FL, Judy Smith of Redondo Beach, Ca, Shari Benhayon of Brookhaven, Pa, and Janice DeLep of Broadview Hights, Ohio. He was the Grandfather of 6

and the Great grandfather of 2.

Funeral service is private.

Interment is private.
