Virginia E. Bratton May 3, 1923 - March 3, 2007

Virginia E. Bratton (nee Bufano), 83, passed away March 3, 2007 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. She was a life long resident of Chester, Pa. She graduated from Chester High School and also from Chester Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed with Chester Hospital in Chester, Pa, several Delaware County physicians, and retired from the Delaware County Courthouse in Media, Pa after 15 years of service. She was the wife of the late David A. Bratton who passed away in 1970. She was also the sister of the late Vera Peeples. She was survived by her daughter, Linda Lafferty of Middletown Twp., Pa, and her sister, Rita Culbert of Parkside, Pa. She was also the grandmother of 2. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 12 noon at Blessed Katherine Drexel, 20th St. and Providence Rd., Chester, Pa. Interment private.
