Violet E. Stopper, 88,
passed away March 25, 2008 at Sunrise Assisted Living at Granite run, Media, Pa.
Born in Camden, NJ, she was currently a resident of Middletown Twp. and lived in Delaware county for the past 58 years. She attended Woodlyn Wilson High School, NJ.
She was also a secretary for the Courier Post in New Jersey.
She was the devoted wife to the late Frank S. Stopper who passed away in 1973. She was the loving mother to David F. Stopper of Middletown Twp., Pa, and Constance Stopper Berman of Yeadon, Pa. She was the sister of the late Robert Schenck. She was survived by her sisters, Dorothy Schenck Walter of Doylestown, Pa, and Ethel “Dolly” Schenck Fugaro of Sarasota, Fl. She was the proud grandmother of 1.
Funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Friends may call Saturday 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment Media Cemetery, Media, Pa.
