Stephanie Nykorczuk February 7, 1977 - January 8, 2023

Stephanie Nykorczuk

After a 24-year battle with a disorder that was debilitating and non-curable, the Lord sent a special Angel to bring Stephanie home. She is survived by her mother Krystyna Nykorczuk (Bob), father Jerry (Kim) Nykorczuk, brother Nick (Keri) Nykorczuk, little brothers Jerry and Joey, uncle Joe and aunt Zeta Nykorczuk, cousins Jason and Sam, niece Kylie and nephews Tyler and Brayden. Predeceased by her grandparents Wasyl and Olga Nykorczuk.

Thank you to Angelic Palliative/Hospice Health for their excellent care of Stephanie and for always showing kindest and compassion. A special thank you to Sheila, Adeline and Alysia for having patience and going above and beyond on so many occasions to make sure Steph’s needs were met.  And a thank you to Thomas, her guardian angel, who lived nearby and was always there at any hour of the day to help out whenever she needed assistance with anything.

All funeral services will be private as per her request.

Steph was always passionate in caring for her shelter animals and promoting awareness against drinking and driving.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either of these organizations; Mothers Against Drunk Driving (www.madd.org); American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.aspca.org).

All funeral services will be private as per her request.

Stephanie was such a special girl then woman to us! From the time I met her as a young girl I had a special bond with her. We would spend many weekend afternoons and evenings with her and her dad and brother hanging out having BBQs or doing some fun activities. When our kids were born she and Nick were like their older siblings / cousins always watching out for them. Stephanie also became our daughter’s godmother.

It was so sad that most of Stephanie adult life was in pain. She was such a caring and loving person that will be dearly missed by so many, especially our family. I am so glad we got to see her a few years ago at our last visit to the Philly area.

Rest in peace dear Stephanie! You will be in our hearts forever!

    Love…..The Hummels
