Stanley E. Rines, Sr.

Stanley E. Rines Sr., 92, went to be with the Lord, February 8, 2014, surrounded by loving family. He was born in Berlin, NH, and has been a resident of Glen Riddle, Pa, for 57 years. He attended the University of New Hampshire. He was a US Army veteran of WWII and was in the Battle of the Bulge. He was the co-owner and co-founder of Container Research Corporation, Riddle Valley Industrial Park Associates, Flextron Industries and Trail King, Inc. Stan loved his family, work, hunting, gardening, and traveling. He cherished nothing more than spending time with family, especially holidays and Sunday

night family time around the big dining room table. He loved sharing time with his 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He also adored his dog, Rascal. He was a long time member of Faith Community Church where he enjoyed being a part of the Boys Brigade, in the early days and Home meetings later on.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Gladys; his siblings Lloyd Rines and Geraldine Barrows; and his son Terence E. Rines. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Marian Rines; his children William Michael (Fran), Scott Timberlane Rines, Stanley E. Jr. (Lora), Susanne Mary Tatum (Daniel), Barbara Jean Howell (William), Judith Allison Rines, Rebecca Gladys Combs (Timothy); daughter-in-law Jean Rines; bother S. Melvin Rines; sister-in-law Nina Rines; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation Saturday 9:30am-12noon at Faith Community Church, 3515 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Funeral service Saturday 12 noon at the church. Interment at

Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, Pa, 19342. In lieu of flowers donations can be made
