Sarah Polo April 18, 1915 - January 30, 2015

Sarah Polo, 99, passed away January 30, 2015 at Wallingford Nursing Home. She was a long time resident of Brookhaven, Pa. Sarah was a homemaker for the majority of her life but spent a few years working at WT Grant Company in the Brookhaven Shopping Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church. She was an avid gardener, both vegetables and flowers. She is predeceased by her husband Walter Polo; her parents Catherine and Stanley Novak; and her siblings Alex, Stanley, John, Laura, Jean, and Josephine.

Sarah is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Dorothy “Dottie” Mitchell; her sister Estelle Budzilowicz; and her granddaughter Jennifer Mitchell.

Funeral mass Saturday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
