Sandra J. Chanitz October 18, 1942 - August 20, 2017

Sandra Jean (Strauss) Chanitz, age 74, of Brookhaven, PA passed into the next life Sunday, August 20, 2017. Sandra was born in Fountain Hill, PA on October 18, 1942 to Agnes (Bednarik) and William Strauss. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Joel. Her sister, Susan (Bob) Welsh. Daughters: Lisa (Robert) Hill and Jennifer (Jim) Vershinski. Grandchildren: Alexandra, Victoria and Christina Hill; Joshua and Jacob Vershinski. Also survived by nieces. Sandi was a loving and caring wife, mother and beloved and caring Mom-Mom. Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Sloan Kettering or Philabundance.
