Ronald I. Frampton November 27, 1921 - September 1, 2005

Ronald I. Frampton, 83, passed away on September 1, 2005 at his home. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa he resided in Aston, Pa for the past 51 years. After retiring in 1984 from Sun Oil Service Department he was employed with James Pool, Concord, Pa. Other employment in the area consisted of Hancock Oil, Folsom, Pa and Ford Motor Company, Chester, Pa. He was a member of The VFW in Aston, Pa, 82nd airborne Association, American Legion, Springfield, Pa, and Delaware County Field and Stream. He enjoyed spending his time working on boats, motors, trains, airplanes, motorcycles, and guns. He was a 15 year veteran: WWII, AirForce, served with the 82nd airborne division, Normandy D-Day, Battle of the Bulge. He was survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Terrells Frampton, of Aston, Pa. His daughter, Ronda Frampton Gharadaghian of Newtown Square, Pa, his sister Myrtle Frampton Downey of Parkside, Pa and four grandchildren. Service will be held at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA, 19015 Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 12 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 am to 12 pm.
