Rodger W. Fredrick February 18, 1933 - September 10, 2014

Rodger W. Fredrick, 81, passed away September 10, 2014 at Sunrise Granite Run. Born in East Stroudsburg, Pa, he was a long time resident of Norwood before moving to Sunrise 5 years ago. He was a graduate of Milton S. Hershey School for Boys. Rodger was a Rates and Tariffs officer for Matlack trucking company. He was very involved with the Norwood Republicans, where he was the treasurer, as well as the Norwood Fourth of July. He had a deep interest in trains. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Rodger is predeceased by his wife Alice (nee Clark) Fredrick.
He is survived by his children Patricia Schaffenburg (Karl) and Mark Fredrick; siblings Lawrence Fredrick, Ethelwyn Wornon, and Roberta Riegle.
All funeral services are private. Arrangements by the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, Pa.
