Robert M. Montgomery Sr., 70,
passed away January 25, 2009 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa. Born in South Philadelphia, Pa, he has been a resident of Aston, Pa for the past 36 years.
He has previously resided in Folsom, Pa and Prospect Park, Pa.
He retired from PECO Energy after 25 years of employment. Previously he worked at the Prospect Park Post Office and also Res-kem for 2 years, Aston, Pa. He was the loving husband of Diane L. Brown Montgomery for 44 years. He was the son of the late William and Helen Montgomery.
He was the father of Robert (Deborah) M. Montgomery Jr. of Townsend, De, and Janet (Dave) Montgomery Bingeman of Brookhaven, Pa. He was the brother of the late William Montgomery and the late Lorraine Haber. He was the grandfather of Alexis and Rachel. Friends may call Thursday 7:00-8:30pm at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015 to celebrate his life.
