Richard T. Levis, Jr
12/31/1927-1/17/18
Richard was born in Malvern, PA and raised in Chester, PA. He graduated from Chester HS class of 1945. Following graduation Richard attended Swarthmore College, while working in the automobile business in Media, PA. He also attended Ford Merchandising School class #21 of 1950 in Dearborn, MI.
Later in 1950 Richard joined the Marine Corps, fighting in 3 battles in Korea as a light machine gun staff sergeant. Upon discharge he married Evelyn O’Donnell and lived in Middletown Township most of his adult life. In 1955 he joined Bell of Pennsylvania as a salesman, retiring as a marketing manager in 1980.
Richard is survived by his daughter, June Levis, of Highland Heights, KY; a sister, Dorothy Novak, of Brookhaven, PA; a brother, William H. Levis, of St. Peters, MO; and 2 beloved grand-dogs, Sally and Henry.
A graveside service will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11am in Mount Hope Cemetery, 4010 Concord Road, Aston PA.
