Mary Ellen McCullough aged 64, passed away on January 19, 2025. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend, and Mimi who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jane E. Middleton, 65, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, at Bryn Mawr Village. She was a lifelong resident of Aston and graduated from Sun Valley High School, class of ’77. For her entire career she worked for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit as a teacher for the hearing impaired.

Leonore "Lee" Siple, 78, passed away peacefully after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's. She was a graduate of Springfield High School, class of '64, and went on to work for Weight Watchers for 30 years as a leader. She loved helping people lose weight and get healthy.

Edward Harry Riffert of Maris Grove in Glen Mills passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 93. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Cassidy Riffert and his sister, Margaret Paton.  He is survived by his son Edward J. (Linda) and his daughter Betsy, grandchildren Danielle (Kris) Kellogg, Brittany (Meg) Rothlauf and Edward A., and great grandchildren Jackson and Lily Kellogg. Born in Collingdale, PA, Ed enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduation from Collingdale High School and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2.

Timothy James Stout March 7th, 1967 - January 6th, 2025. A life too short, but filled with love. He showed us love through his kindness, strength, and faith. The most gentle giant, with a heart as big as his hugs. A provider, protector, and father in every way that mattered. His laughter filled our home. His presence filled our hearts. He taught us the meaning of love, family, and hard work.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jon R. Grant Jr, 50, of Brookhaven PA, who passed away peacefully on January 5th, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lan "Laura" Liao, a loving mother, devoted Christian, compassionate soul, and beacon of strength to those who knew her. Laura passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, after a courageous battle with gastric cancer.

Joseph M. Cucchi, age 77, peacefully passed away on December 30, 2024.  He was born in Chester, graduated from Chester High, and lived most of his life in Delaware County.  “Joe” lived a life full of service. He enlisted in the Army around the age of 25 and served 3 years in South Korea as a dispatcher at an oil facility. After leaving Korea he was briefly stationed at Fort Knox, where he spent the rest of his military career before being honorably discharged from service.  After serving in the military he spent some time performing in an a cappella group, and was a longtime tool and die maker before his retirement.

David G. Schuster, 75, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was a long time resident of Aston, PA. He attended Cardinal Dougherty High School and had many talents throughout his life.
