James F. Johnson, Sr., passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025, at Riddle Hospital. Born and raised in Mt. Vernon, IL, he moved to the Philadelphia area 64 years ago. He proudly served in the Navy for 8 years and after that time he worked for a variety of different companies. He ultimately finished his career by working as a steamfitter at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, where he retired after 12 years.

Lilly Waters, born Lillie Mae Felder on February 17, 1933, to Hattie and Graham Felder in Bishopville, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the age of 91.
Lilly grew up in Bishopville, South Carolina, on Felder Street, named after her family. She was raised by her Aunt Addie, who owned a small farm and country store, and spent her childhood surrounded by her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lilly often fondly reminisced about her days on the farm, where she completed her daily chores, including milking cows and feeding chickens, before heading to school. She also loved helping in her Aunt Addie's store. Friday evenings were special to Lilly, as that was when she received her allowance. During summer vacations, Lilly would visit her cousins in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she enjoyed playing in the park across the street from their home.

My mother, Katherine Anne Scott was born in Covington, Virginia on Thursday, July 30th, 1953. She passed away suddenly and peacefully at age 71 on Monday, January 27th, 2025 at 2:46am, and was surrounded by loved ones the entire time. She is survived by a wonderful family with fond memories growing up in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, visiting her grandparents in Covington, experiencing student life at Tarkio College, living in Baltimore with her sister Teresa, spending time with her Daddy in New Orleans, visiting Pensacola, Florida, living with her mother and brother Jeffrey in Zelienople, and going to Taylor family re-unions.

Robert J. “Rob” Nickerson, age 40, of Aston passed away suddenly at home on January 27, 2025.
Rob was previously a resident of Brookhaven and a 2003 Sun Valley graduate.
He was a lifelong Philly sports fan especially the Eagles, was an avid fisherman, and for the last 20 years he was proudly employed as a Steamfitter by the Steamfitters Local 420. Above all, he was a family man who brought love and laughter to everyone who knew him.
