Otha “Artie” Shaw, 61, passed away August 7, 2012 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Chester, Pa, he has been a long time resident of Parkside, Pa. He was a long time employee of Cott Beverage as a Filler Operator. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the shore. Above all else, he loved being a Poppy. He cherished the time he spent with his grandkids. He was also an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army.
He is predeceased by his father Otha Shaw.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Sheila Shaw (nee Eddis); his mother Julia Shaw; children David Shaw, Brian (Jennifer) Shaw, and Tara (Chip) Coccoli; 14 brothers and sisters; 9 grandchildren.
Funeral mass Saturday 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Saturday 8:30-10:30am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Media, Pa.
