Neil O’Connor September 4, 1929 - January 10, 2014

Neil J. O’Connor, 84, passed away January 10, 2014 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa. He was a lifelong resident of Garden City, Wallingford, Pa before moving to Rose Tree Place where he lived for the last year and a half. He was a very well educated man with numerous degrees. He was an avid swimmer, loved to tinker with electronics, and eat ice cream. He loved to learn and work on his education. He was a member of St. Johns Chrysostom, Wallingford, Pa. Neil was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by his parents Carol and Leo O’Connor and his sister Carol Baker.
He is survived by his brother-in-law Robert Baker; nieces Barbara Monaghan and Carol Campbell; nephew Robert Baker.
Funeral service Wednesday 11am at the Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 10-11am at the funeral home. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Media, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heartland Hospice, 5 Christy Dr., #103, Chadds Ford, Pa, 19317.
