Millie C. Gallo DiMatteo, 93, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2015. Born in Chester she was a resident of Marcus Hook, Pa, before moving to Brookhaven, Pa. She attended Eddystone High School and worked for Visco and Penn Delco School District. Millie loved taking care of her family and loved to cook. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for everyone. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 35 years Dominic Anthony DiMatteo; her parents Pellegrino and Filomena (Ferrara) Gallo; and her brothers Anthony and Patrick Gallo.
She is survived by her loving sons Sam DiMatteo of Glen Mills and Joe DiMatteo (Jean) of Parkesburg, Pa; sister Jean Malloy of New Castle; grandchildren Marihelen DiMatteo, Joe DiMatteo (Kristin), and Steven DiMatteo; great granddaughter Dora Rosenthal.
Funeral mass Wednesday 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Visitation Wednesday 9:30-10:30am at the church. Interment Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood, Pa. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady of Charity Church. Arrangements by Bateman-Allen Funeral Home, Brookhaven, Pa.
