Mary Ellen McCarey, 74, passed away Feb. 14, 2009 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pa. She currently resided in Upland, Pa. She formerly resided in Philadelphia, Pa and Clifton Heights, Pa. She was a beautician who worked at numerous salons in the area. She was predeceased by her parents, Florence L. Hurley and Hugh McCarey. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Charles P. and Hugh McCarey Jr.
She was survived by her sister, Florence T. Hallam of Forksville, Pa. Funeral service Friday 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, Pa, 19015. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pa.
